Anupam Kher is one of India’s most acclaimed and versatile actors, with a body of work spanning over 450 films and more than 100 plays. He has won the Filmfare Award for Best Performance in a Comic Role five times and holds the record for winning eight consecutive Filmfare awards. In 2013, he received the IIFA Award for Outstanding Contribution by an Indian to International Cinema. He was conferred the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 2004 and has also received the Dalai Lama Award for his work with underprivileged children.
